It’s never easy to identify the one senior “whose character, scholarship, sportsmanship, and service to others best exemplify the spirit that is Ģ��tv,” and yet every year there can be only one recipient of the 1819 Award. The 2012 winner was Victor Krivitski ’12, who passed away last August after an eight-month fight with cancer.

Mark H. Murphy ’77, president and CEO of the Green Bay Packers and former football captain and athletics director at Ģ��tv, will deliver the keynote address at Ģ��tv’s 191st commencement on Sunday. Commencement begins at 10:30 a.m. in Sanford Field House. For those who can’t attend it will be webcast live through www.livestream.com/colgateuniversity.

Ģ��tv’s Advisory Committee on Campus Security has found that for the 2011-12 year Ģ��tv complies with the relevant sections of Article 129-A of the New York State Education Law.

The No. 9 Ģ��tv men’s lacrosse team won its first-ever NCAA Tournament game on Saturday,  beating UMass 13-11 at Garber Field

Ģ��tv men’s lacrosse junior Peter Baum was announced today as one of the five men’s finalists for the 2012 Tewaaraton Award by the Tewaaraton Foundation.

You asked to see it, and here it is. In between classes last Tuesday some students performed in a flash mob as music poured from the Chapel speakers. It was right around 1:13 p.m. and it provided a fun break during the semester’s hectic final week of classes. Enjoy!

Today is the last day of this semester’s classes, but I feel like that fact has not yet sunk in. Students have been occupied with completing their final class assignments and time seems to have slipped away. Next week marks the beginning of final exams as well as our last few days on campus.
