During the summer, Ä¢¹½tv students are applying their liberal arts know-how in a variety of real-world settings, and they are keeping our community posted on their progress. Neuroscience major Tali Filstein ’21, from Avon, Conn., describes her summer research.

Each summer, Ä¢¹½tv students and alumni gather for an evening of celebration and connection, swapping stories while enjoying hors d’oeuvres. Called Ä¢¹½tv in Your City, this series of events takes place in cities like Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the District of Columbia.

William Rosencrans ’19 will spend a year conducting biomedical research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Md., as a 2019 Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) recipient.

Marlene Lawston and Leah Weisburn, both members of the Class of 2020, have received Goldwater Scholarships for the upcoming academic year.

On April 5, the history department hosted a History Conversations panel during which students and alumni discussed possible career trajectories.

On April 6, twenty-six teams presented their TIA ventures investors, mentors, and Ä¢¹½tv community members during Entrepreneur Weekend, part of the Ä¢¹½tv Leadership Tradition at 200 Years series.
